A special meeting of the California Section combining the celebration of the International Year of the Periodic Table with the rededication of the National Chemistry Landmark on the discovery of the transuranium elements by the scientists of LBNL followed by a reception. It will be on August 11, Sunday 2:00 p.m. at the Lawrence Hall of Science, 1 Centennial Dr, Berkeley, CA 94720 Berkeley.

RSVP- Capacity is limited to 100 guests. Please, send a message to Julie at office@calacs.org if you are going to attend, as soon as possible, no later than Wednesday, August 7th.  Reservations are required to avoid paying the $16 of entrance fee to LHS.  You may bring a guest.

We will have a special table set up at the entrance to check you in. There is parking for the visitors, but you have to buy a parking ticket at the kiosk $1/hour.  We hope to finish the meeting by 4:30 p.m.
