Cal ACS at the ChemLuminary Awards!

The California Section was a finalist for ten ChemLuminary Awards, recognizing the excellent work compiled by Past-Chair Atefeh Taheri in our 2023 annual report. We took home three of those awards at the Denver National Meeting, including Outstanding Performance by a Local Section – Very Large Size:

We were also recognized for our Outstanding U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad program (congratulations, Eileen Nottoli)

The 2023 Bay Area Chemistry Symposium was recognized by the Outstanding Local Section Industry Event, presented by the ACS Committee on Corporation Associates.
