NCW 1999 – Y2CHEM!
In 1999, Cal ACS took National Chemistry Week to a whole new level with another fabulously successful Family Science Night at Piedmont Middle School:
Professor Sam Markowitz and NCW Coordinators Marinda Li Wu and Alex Madonik organized a tribute to the late Glenn T. Seaborg on the football field at UC Berkeley:
We were assisted by the Sigma Chapter, Alpha Chi Sigma and by Randy Schroeder (with his Periodic Table Car, signed by Dr. Seaborg) as we welcomed visitors to the Funzone preceding the game:
