Marvelous Metals Webinar – 22 October 2019 at College of Alameda

Chemistry instructor (and NCW Coordinator) Alex Madonik hosted this ACS Program-in-a-Box event at the College of Alameda Science Annex.  Some 15 students and faculty learned about the catalytic properties of transition metals, and the medical applications of rare earth MRI contrast agents.  Plus, we celebrated Mole Day and the 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, for the lithium ion battery, while sharing refreshments and handing out some cool chemistry prizes.
