Korematsu Middle School Science Fair (El Cerrito) – 05 February 2019
Cal ACS volunteers presented a chemistry show and a half-dozen hands-on chemistry activities for students and their families, including several activities from the NISEnet “Let’s Do Chemistry” kit. “Sublimation Bubbles” were a hit, while old favorites such as the red cabbage indicator rainbow demonstration and slime never lose their appeal. Special thanks to the Chevron slime team and to volunteers from UC Berkeley’s Alpha Chi Sigma chemistry fraternity.
