What is the WCC?

The Women Chemist Committee (WCC) is part of the California American Chemical Society (CALACS), a local section whose members include the Northern California region. We aim to provide a platform for women identifying chemists and allies to listen to relevant topics and advocate for themselves. We are aligned with the National committee, where we are aim to "attract, retain, develop, promote, and advocate for women to positively impact diversity, equity and inclusion in the Society and the profession."
